Cong MLA booked for ‘misbehaviour’

A case has been registered against Congress MLA Madan Singh Bisht and a party worker at the Dwarahat police station. The complaint was filed by Krishnakant Singh Mer, the director in-charge of Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology.

ALMORA: A case has been registered against Congress MLA Madan Singh Bisht and a party worker at the Dwarahat police station. The complaint was filed by Krishnakant Singh Mer, the director in-charge of Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology.
In a countermove, MLA Bisht also lodged a complaint against the director in-charge. A video capturing the commotion following the MLA's late-night visit to the in-charge director's residence circulated widely on social media.

Rahul Navin, an IRS officer, has been appointed as the in-charge director of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) by the Indian government. Navin will hold the position until a full-time director is appointed or further orders are given.
